About

We are a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting parents whose lives have been forever changed by pregnancy, infant, or child loss.

Loss in pregnancy and early childhood is far more common than many realize. An estimated 15–20 % of pregnancies end in miscarriage or stillbirth — meaning roughly 1 in 4 pregnancies does not reach a live birth.

Globally, millions of families are affected each year by stillbirths and neonatal loss, with almost 2 million stillbirths occurring annually worldwide.

In Canada, the infant mortality rate — the number of babies who die before their first birthday — has historically been around 4–5 per 1,000 live births.

These losses are often accompanied by profound grief and a desperate need for compassionate support — yet many parents find themselves navigating these experiences alone or in silence.

Our work is rooted in lived experience and guided by compassion, understanding, and connection. We offer intensive healing weekends for bereaved mothers, with plans to expand our programming to include couples and families as a whole with siblings a focus of this. These weekends provide a safe, supportive environment for deep healing, shared understanding, and meaningful connection with others who truly “get it.”

Locally, we host a monthly support group that allows bereaved parents to gather, share, and feel less alone in their grief. Beyond direct peer support, we also work with employers to help them better support employees returning to the workplace after loss, and with healthcare institutions to improve care for individuals and families experiencing pregnancy, infant, or child loss.

As part of our commitment to awareness, remembrance, and community connection, we are currently fundraising for our first annual run/walk — an event we hope will become a lasting tradition that honours our missing and very loved children while supporting bereaved families.

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that grief deserves space, compassion, and support — and that healing, while deeply personal, should never have to happen alone.

The absolute worst community to be apart of,

with the absolute best people.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to support bereaved parents as they navigate life after the loss of a pregnancy, infant, or child. We provide low to no cost compassionate, trauma-informed spaces for healing, connection, and hope—while working alongside communities, employers, and healthcare systems to ensure bereaved families are met with understanding, dignity, and care.

Our Vision

We envision a world where no parent grieves alone, where loss is met with compassion rather than silence and stigma. Where families are supported not only in their darkest moments, but throughout their lifelong journey of grief and healing.

We strive for a future in which workplaces, healthcare institutions, and communities are better equipped to care for those impacted by pregnancy, infant, and child loss—and where bereaved parents are empowered to heal, remember, and move forward in ways that honour their children and their lives.
